Elderberry Tea – to keep you well
Elderberry (Sambucus nigra) is an enchanting berry tea that strengthens your cell walls to resist invasion of bacteria and viruses; it is an immune system stimulant. Elderberry also comes to the rescue when you get sick, easing aches and pains, coughing, nasal congestion, and fever.  This is a great remedy if you have been around a bunch of sick people, or if you feel like you are on the edge of not feeling well.  Elderberry is known to shorten the length of colds and flu’s as well as lessen the severity of symptoms if you do get sick.

Dosage:  Make 2 cups of tea with 1 Tablespoon of the dried berries, several times daily.
Adding a wedge of lemon and some raw honey makes a very tasty tea.
